We can recommend various lending institutions that are ‘ADU- friendly’ that can help make your ADU a reality. Many homeowners are using a combination of a HELOC (Home Equity Line of Credit) with an ADU or other loan, if needed.

No; we are a full-service company, from design to build, with license to operate in California. No need to work with various contractors and subcontractors to get your ADU built. We have dedicated in-house construction teams and we work together with you from the beginning to ensure the building process goes smoothly during every step of the way.

There are many variables that affect the timeline, such as unit size, weather, site specific conditions, and permitting, but we estimate about 6-12 months from contract signing until installation is complete. M1 (120 SF Studio) can be installed in most jurisdictions without a building permit, and with our unique ground screw foundation system, takes 2-3 weeks from start to finish. Once we’ve completed preliminary site visits and a feasibility study on your property, we can give you a more accurate timeline.

We include all appliances and fixtures, including the washer/dryer, so you can focus on what you do best! Prior to contract execution, our team will review all the customization options, as well as our standard and upgrade interior finish packages.

Per California ADU mandate, the allowance is a 4’ setback from your rear and side yard property lines. At a site visit and after performing a feasibility study, we can verify other potential jurisdiction specific setback requirements.

We can accommodate a variety of solar systems. Our standard option is a grid-tied system that notably offsets the electricity used from your provider, but other options are available with battery backup.
